Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Southwark No 22 Sesquicentenary 18th October 2016

What a wonderful evening. The WM and brethren of Southwark Mark Lodge No 22 were joined by the RW Deputy Grand master RW Bro Raymond Smith and the RW Provincial Grand Master RW Bro David Ashbolt to celebrate the sesquicentenary anniversary of the lodge being issued with its English warrant in October 1866. The Deputy Grand Master presented the WM with a special warrant to record and mark this 150 year milestone. The meeting was further entertained and informed by two presentations, by RW Bro Christopher Radmore with an overview of the biographies of some of the founder members of the lodge, followed by an erudite and fact filled tour of Lincoln’s Inn Fields by VW Bro Brian Tierney. To top off the activities the PGM was very pleased to accept a substantial charity donation cheque from the lodge and also to present them with a Mark Benevolent Fund Grand Patron Gold collar and jewel in recognition of their generosity over the years. The evening continued with a well attended and sumptuous festive board.
