The PGM, RW. Bro. Tom Quinn, leads the first Full Team Visit of the decade to Lodge of Clemency on 11 January 2020 – and what a good meeting it turned out to be.

The Brethren of Lodge of Clemency met at 11.00am on Saturday the 11th January and opened the lodge in the usual manner. As is customary on such occasions the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies requested admission to the lodge and informed the Master that the Provincial Grand Master was outside the lodge together with a large number of active Provincial Grand Officers and demanded admission. The Provincial Grand Master then entered the lodge, took the gavel for a short time; introduced the members of his delegation and then returned the gavel to the lodge’s master. Brother Secretary then proceeded to the next item on the agenda which was the minutes of the lodge’s previous meeting. Unfortunately Brother Secretary’s printer being broken he was unable to circulate them prior the meeting so he read them out in full much to the delight of the members of the delegation and the consternation of some of the lodge officers present.
The next item was to ballot for two honorary memberships, MW. Bro. Raymond Smith Pro. G.M. and RW. Bro. Ryan Williams G. Sec. Both being elected; RW. Bro. Ryan Williams being present rose and thanked the Brethren for the honour bestowed, adding that he did not realise that by accepting he would have been asked to sit in as Junior Warden for this meeting!
Proceeding to the main item on the agenda the Worshipful Master W. Bro. Gregory Brennan very ably supported by his officers conducted a double Advancement ceremony of Bro’s Thomas Grant and Gavin Edgar to a very high standard, at the end of which the P.G.M. rose and made a point of congratulating the Master and all his participating officer in such a well conducted ceremony.
After the customary photographs in the Grand Temple the Brethren retired to the festive board where they enjoyed a splendid St James carvery in a most convivial atmosphere.
