Royal Colonial Institute Lodge No. 728 receives the PGM and his Full Team in great style and with a new Advancee!
Friday, 3rd December, 2021 saw our PGM, Tom Quinn, and a Full Team Delegation pay a most welcome visit to RCI on the occasion of the Lodge’s Centenary Meeting. This was a meeting where there was another very senior Mark Mason in attendance. R.W. Bro. H Keith Emmerson, Past Deputy Grand Master, who thoroughly entered into the spirit of the afternoon. The highlight for the Lodge was twofold: the Proclamation of W. Bro Darren Coleman-Heald as Master remaining in Office for the next term and the ballot for and subsequent Advancement of Bro. Andrew Haigh. The whole Ceremony was undertaken in a most sincere and meaningful manner which could not fail but to impress. A brief but interesting discourse on the history of the Lodge was given and the general business of the Lodge was dealt with. There followed a very Festive Board where all the usual toasts were taken and everyone parted in good spirits.
