New Era No.176, 8th Feb 2025.
A tremendously enjoyable Saturday as New Era Mark and R.A.M. 176 had a busy agenda.
Having kicked off with the Mark meeting, we were privileged to have our very own Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Tom Quinn, on hand to present two Grand Lodge Certificates to our newest members, Bros Josh Barratt and David Sargent.
Then, in the Royal Ark Mariner meeting, we elevated the same two Brothers. Sadly, our commander elect could not attend so W.Bro. Len Brown will be steering the ship for another year.
Thanks go to the PGM and two Past APGMs, VW Brothers Keith Florence and John Ellis, all of whom are honorary members and all helped out at one or both of the meetings, especially our PGM acting as SD for the double elevation. Our PGM is so hardworking that he couldn’t be in the photograph as he had to pay a visit to the Ralph Reader Lodge to make a presentation.
A very happy festive board rounded off a truly enjoyable day.
