Provincial Grand Steward’s Lodge, 18th Nov 2025,
This week saw the Installation Meeting of our Provincial Grand Stewards’ Lodge when V.W. Bro. John Ellis, under the watchful gaze of W. Bro. Carl Lillington, Lodge DC, installed his successor, R W.Bro. Ian Clark into the Chair of Adoniram. As well as being our current President of the MBF, Ian is the Past PGM of Surrey and there were a number of his Surrey Brethren present to support him on this occasion.
It was an evening of reminiscences as the Lodge is now 20 years old. The Primus Master was V.W. Bro. John Knox. Several of the speeches and toasts incorporated stories of that colourful character and his time as one of our APGMs.
Under Lodge business, W.Bro. Stacy Harman made an appeal for brethren to avail themselves of the PSA Testing at MMH on 17th February. The Lodge subsequently voted to donate £2000 to the Province’s Charity which will be underwriting those tests.
