Southwark Lodge can be traced back to the Scottish Constitution, where it was numbered 11. Later, following the amalgamation of the two Grand Lodges in England, Southwark became attached to the English Constitution and was assigned the number 22, which it proudly bears to this day.
Around a year ago, the Lodge was suffering declining activity and fewer than ten members. Now, one year on, the Lodge has welcomed 26 new members and is thriving through a strong collaboration between English and Danish officers.
The day saw five new members join and were honoured by the presence of the Provincial Grand Master, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, and other Provincial officers at the festive board.
