Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Connaught Army and Navy Lodge No.748.

And on the final delegation of the season VW Bro Tim MacAndrews, DPGM, was out at Connaught Army and Navy Lodge No.748, supported by 10 Provincial Grand Officers.

Firstly in the Royal Ark Marnier, there was a joining member, then Bro Simon Halliday was elevated in a good style, led by W Bro Capt Richard Fogwill, who at 97, it appears is the oldest Worshipful Commander, still at the helm.

So to cap that off, W Bro Richard, then greeted the Deputy Provincial Grand Master and his delegation, and went straight into installing Bro. Major Danny Daniel into the masters chair carrying out the full ceremony in an excellent manner.

W.Bro John Burnapp, part of the delegation, then gifted the Lodge, a past masters jewel dated 1928-29, which was engraved and hall-marked. It had been passed on to him by a masonic widow, who wanted it to go to back to the Lodge.

A quick trip to the bar, was followed by a lovely carvery festive board, shared with Maguncor Lodge No.833, making a fitting end to the evening.
