New Era 176 – Grandfather Advances Grandson on visit by Tom Quinn, DPGM
New Era 176 – Grandfather Advances Grandson
Following the closure of Gibraltar Lodge of Mark Master Masons and its members joining New Era Mark 176, New Era held its first “proper” meeting on Saturday 15 October 2016 and what a meeting it turned out to be!
The Provincial Grand Charity Steward for the Province of Kent, WBro Ian Gallehawk, became a joining member. Then WBro Colin Cresswell, a recent joining member from the Province of Sussex, was inducted into the Master’s chair.
Having taken the Chair, WBro Colin proceeded to Advance his grandson, Bro Tom Laverick. A rare and moving event, not to be replicated very often and all in the presence of the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, WBro Tom Quinn.
All present posed for a photograph after the event, as did grandfather and grandson. The future for New Era looks ever better!
