Provincial Grand Officers’ Mess Dinner – 14 May, 2025
The Provincial Grand Officers’ Mess Annual Dinner will be held at The Bakers Hall, Harp Lane, London EC3R 6DP. The doors will open at 17:30 & members are invited for a Pre-Dinner Drink. Members must be seated by 18:00 as the talk will commence at 18:15.
The speaker is W. Bro. Mike Neville P.G.J.D. R.A.M.G.R. This fascinating talk will be entitled ‘Crime & the Craft.’
These will include parts from his new book “Crafty Characters – Tales of Famous & Infamous Masons”.
Mike is a very experienced Mason & former Metropolitan Police Detective Chief Inspector who now is the CEO of Super Recognisers International Ltd.
The cost of the event is £75.00 which includes a Three-course Dinner with Cheese & Biscuits, half a bottle of Wine and a glass of 10-Year-Old Tawny Port. As ever, the Dinner will be informal: Lounge Suit, no Regalia and no seating plan, however, members of the Mess should wear the Provincial Mess Tie. The Silk Mess Tie will be available to buy prior to the Dinner at a cost of £20 each.
The Menu is:
Poached Salmon Terrine a Sweet Pepper salad.
Roasted Leg of Lamb with Creamed Sweet Potato & Seasonal Vegetables.
French Style Apple Flan + Whipped Cream.
Selection of Cheeses (1 Platter between 3)
Half Bottle of House Red / White Wine.
1 Glass of 10 Year Old Tawny Port.
Tea or Coffee.
Vegetarian, Vegan, Coeliac or a Fish Main Course are available on application
