Provincial Grand Officers’ Mess Dinner – 5 April, 2024

All Provincial Officers are invited to attend the London Mark Provincial Mess Annual Dinner to be held at Bakers’ Hall, Harp Lane, London EC3R 6DP on Friday, 5 April 2024. The doors will open at 17:30 and members are invited for a pre-dinner drink. Members must be seated by 18:00 as the talk will commence at 18:15.

The speaker is W. Bro. Matthew Christmas P.Prov.G.S.W. (Oxon) and Metropolitan Grand Secretary. His talk will be entitled “Matthew, Metropolitan, the Mark and Other Orders.”

Members of the Mess are encouraged to invite Craft and Mark Brethren not only to hear the speaker but to experience at first hand the legendary friendliness of London Mark in the beautiful and historic Bakers’ Hall.

The cost of the event is £75.00 which includes a three-course meal with cheese & biscuits, half a bottle of wine and 10 year Old Tawny Port. As ever, the dinner will be informal: lounge suit, no regalia and no seating plan. However, the Provincial Mess tie should be worn. The silk Mess tie will be available to purchase prior to the luncheon at a cost of £20.00.

All in all this will be a most interesting talk and dinner in a superb location, and your Mess Committee and I look forward very much to seeing you there.
