A Full Team Visit by RW David Ashbolt, Provincial Grand Master and his Delegation to Golden Square Lodge
The PGM RW Bro David Ashbolt, APGM W Bro Tim MacAndrews and a Delegation of Active and Past Provincial Officers all shepherded with great care by the Escorting Officer W Bro John Wallis were present at the Golden Square Lodge for a most enjoyable afternoon and evening. In the RAM we were treated to an excellent Elevation Ceremony which was performed with great skill and attention to detail. In the Mark, although no Advancee this time, W Bro Jules delivered a most interesting and informative talk on the Degree of Royal & Select Masters.
The other highlight of the day was the presentation by RW Bro David Ashbolt of the 56th Axe in recognition of the great support from the lodge. The Provincial “Axeman” was on hand with his ready wit to assist the PGM in the presentation of the Axe. The PGM and the APGM accompanied by the EO visited Savage Club and Maguncor Lodges during the Festive Board to great acclaim from all.
The whole afternoon was full of hard work and great fun and the meal which followed was, as always, great.
