A Full Team Visit to St John’s Wood Lodge on Wednesday 27th May 2015, by the PGM, RW Bro David Ashbolt and a very happy Delegation enjoyed a very Friendly Welcome.
Noted for their friendliness at St John’s Wood Lodge, this evening was no exception. We were received with warmth and good humour which just continued to build up and produced a really enjoyable meeting. Bro Tony/Adam/Andy (it’s one of those, I’m sure. I’ll just ask the SW) was Advanced into the Mark Degree by the Worshipful Master ably assisted in very good humour by his Officers in a most genuine Ceremony. The MO was a bit of a rogue, but he turned out to be OK at the Festive Board!
We were then treated to the receipt of the Travelling Keystone, delivered from Carnarvon No 7 and presented in due form by the Representative of that Lodge and the Travelling Keystone
coordinator.
The RW Provincial Grand Master, David Ashbolt, presented the Lodge with the Silver and Gold award Certificates and then proceeded to introduce W Bro Charlie (the Axeman) Newman to the Lodge when he presented them with the Platinum Award, the Axe on their magnificent achievement.
The Festive Board was The Carvery which, as always, excelled. Thankyou toall the Members of St John’s Wood Lodge. Here’s to our next Merry Meeting.
