With an exceptionally high turnout of Members, Guests and Delegation, the Consecrating team was very well supported. We were honoured by the attendance of M.W.Bro Raymond John Smith, the Pro Grand Master, in addition to our very own PG, R.W.Bro David Asbolt who was the Consecrating Officer for this, his 16th, and, sadly, last Consecration during his 8 year tenure as PGM. The Ceremony was conducted with great dignity and solemnity but with the underlying good humour which we have all come to know and appreciate.

The Installation of the new Commander, W.Bro Marios Stylianides, was undertaken in great style by our new PGM Designate, V.W.Bro Tom Quinn – who also presented the Address. W.Bros Henry Hobson, Tim MacAndrews, and Cliff Sturt APGMs all also provided their support as did many of the Active Officers of the year.

After a Champagne and Canapes reception, we returned to the Grand Temple for the Mark Degree where a new Brother was Advance into our order in great style by the WM. There followed a Festive Board which was delightful as was the oration on the Bouzouki given at the Festive Board by the Master. The evening concluded with more fun as the Bouzouki player, who really was most entertaining, brought the evening to a close.
