Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Consecration of Loyalty R.A.M.

A remarkable and memorable day unfolded at the Consecration of London’s newest Lodge – The Loyalty Lodge of Royal Ark Mariner No.1989, held on 4 November at Mark Masons’ Hall. This Lodge marks a significant addition to our Masonic family, becoming the fourth Loyalty unit alongside our Craft Lodge, Royal Arch Chapter, and Mark Lodge.
Despite the challenges posed by the inclement weather, brethren and distinguished guests gathered at the venue on what was a very appropriate day for a Lodge based on the story of Noah. Heavy rain may have disrupted travel plans for some of us, but our determination to attend remained unwavering. Notably, the Provincial Grand Lodge made a grand entrance, with a formidable presence, including our esteemed Provincial Grand Master and Consecrating Officer, R.W. Bro. Tom Quinn, accompanied by the Past Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. David Ashbolt, our Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Installing Officer, V.W. Bro. Tim MacAndrews, and the steadfast support of all four Assistant Provincial Grand Masters.
The Consecration ceremony unfolded seamlessly, an event that will ever be etched in the memories of all those present. I had the honour of being installed Primus Commander, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my fellow Founder Members for affording me this great privilege.
Our newly Consecrated Lodge is already making strides, with its first joining member coming in at our next meeting. Additionally, we have a promising line-up of candidates, each eagerly awaiting Elevation into the Lodge.
