FTV Onslow Lodge – 7th July 2015
RW Bro David Ashbolt, Provincial Grand Master, together with a delegation of Provincial Grand Officers, visited Onslow Lodge No 361 on Tuesday 7th July. During this, his last Full Team Visit of the Masonic Year, the PGM presented the Lodge with the Platinum Award of an axe in recognition of the Lodge’s contributions to the Provincial Minibus Appeal. VW Bro Charlie Newman, who has now crafted no less that 35 axes for Platinum Award Lodges, was in the delegation to see his work presented to the Lodge, and his gift was received with very warm applause. A further highlight of an excellent evening was the Advancement into Mark Masonry of a new member of the Lodge, Bro Harpreet Gianni, by the Worshipful Master, W Bro Gary Stratmann and some of the senior members of the Lodge.
