Full Team Visit to Hibernia Lodge by PGM David Ashbolt and a Team of Provincial Officers
What an absolutely brilliant time we had. The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro David Ashbolt accompanied by a large contingent of Provincial Officers attended what was a truly exceptional meeting. Despite last-minute hitches (which Scott overcame with his usual “apparent” ease!) the Officers of Hibernia put on an excellent show for us all. We were delighted when, in the RAM, there were no less than 4 Candidates for Elevation. This was a ceremony where the ritual was of an extremely high standard. In the Mark meeting, we witnessed the installation of the new Master by the outgoing and Installing Master who, I must say, was pretty well word perfect throughout the ceremony and was supported admirably by his Officers and Past Masters. To the Officers of the Lodge who delivered the Addresses to the Master, Wardens and Overseers were really of the best around. It was a very happy meeting which culminated in the Festive Board at the East India Club where an excellent repast was enjoyed by all.
