Gallipoli Lodge No. 1984, 21st Feb 2026.
The 21st of February saw our DPGM VW Bro. Timothy McAndrews lead a delegation to Gallipoli Lodge No 1984. Firstly, visiting the RAM Lodge, he was delighted to see Bro Ediz Erdogdu installed in the commanders chair in an excellent manner W Bro. Ray Bodell. He was then able to present a Grand Lodge certificate to Bro Halit Giray.
In the Mark Lodge, having been officially welcomed by the WM, W Bro. Batuhan Kayhanhe went on to advance two new brothers using Turkish as the main language. While not following the words, the movements and feeling of the ceremony were truly translated in a very good ceremony. Bro Giray, went for his 2nd Grand Lodge certificate, on the same night, both being presented by the DPGM. There followed the MMH carvery festive board, with an abundance of wine flowing, ending a good day of meetings.
