London Mark Golf Day Update
Dear Golfers and Friends
It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you of the cancellation of this years golf day on 17 September 2020
The golf club can only accommodate a society of 20 players and the dining afterwards would be impossible.
David Ashbolt and I have considered this decision at great lengths. Of course, the overriding concern was that we did not put any of the participants at risk from this dreadful virus.
Considering the latest rumours from the government we decided not to postpone it, so we have now booked the new date for Thursday 16 September 2021. Same venue and same rules so please put the date in your diaries. We can hopefully make this a bumper day.
I will publish full details for the day in the New Year and hope that we will be in the new norm that will enable us to enjoy each other’s company once more.
