London Mark Provincial Grand Officers Mess 13th November 2013
Ninety brethren sat down at The Royal National Hotel to hear a brilliant presentation from W. Bro. Malcolm Brooks PAGDC on the life, loves and glorious death of Horatio Nelson.
The afternoon stared with a drinks reception and was then followed by a truly exceptional buffet meal, pudding, cheese and crackers for only £28.00. Live music accompanied the meal, this was followed by a raffle which raised £600.00.
There were talks from W. Bro. John Emms on the Minibus appeal, the Mess President W. Bro. Edwin Goodwin, the Mess Chairman W. Bro. Dennis Bradley BEM DL, the DPGM V.W. Bro. Bill Divall. A presentation was made to W. Bro. Shane Whelan for his many years of giving great service as Secretary of the Mess. A cheque was given to Malcolm Brooks for his terrific presentation on Nelson to be put to the charity of his choice.
