Mess Luncheon proves a great success
On 10 October, the Provincial Officers’ Mess held a lunch at the Imperial Hotel for close to 100 Mess members.
The speaker was Dick Griffin, who was the Queen’s Personal Protection Officer for many years.
He gave a fascinating insight into his former job and some of the quirks of the Royal Family.
Following on from the talk we had a fabulous buffet with wine, a raffle and our PGM took questions from the floor.
The next Mess event will be a dinner on 21 April at the Union Jack Club.
