On the 24th October the PGM David Ashbolt and a full team visit the Prince of Wales lodge at which the PGM presented the lodge with an axe.
The Provincial Grand Master RW. Bro. David Ashbolt paid an official visit to the Prince of Wales lodge to present the lodge with an axe. The Provincial Grand Master was supported by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master W. Bro. Henry Hobson and a goodly number of Provincial Grand Officers. After the Provincial Grand Master had introduced the members of the delegation and returned the gavel to the Worshipful Master he immediately proceeded to present the lodge with the axe. The PGM explained that he had done so because he wished to see the axe blooded as soon as possible, and as the main item on the order of business was to Advance Bro. Theodore Dunay.
The Advancement was carried out under the direction of the Master W. Bro. Peter Holms-Johnson and his officers in a manner which was described by the PGM as outstanding.
