Piscator Lodge of Anglers celebrated their 50 Years Anniversary in style with a Full Team Visit by RW. Bro Tom Quinn and his delegation. In the Royal Ark Mariner’s meeting, Bro. Maurice Wheelan (Snr) was installed as Worshipful Commander and appointed his Officers with much aplomb. At the Mark Meeting which followed after, we witnessed the Advancement ceremony of Bro. Ronald William Dingley conducted with much fun and humour. Once all the lodge business was conducted, RW. Bro Tom Quinn surprised the lodge by conferring a ‘field promotion’ to W.Bro Philip Moore to PProvG.J.W for all his contributions in serving the Province and his long term service to the lodge as an outstanding Treasurer.

At the end of the evening, the Members and the Delegation retired to the Bar for celebratory drinks and thereafter to a White Table Festive Board together with Brixton Lodge No. 234 for a Carvery. At the Festive Board gave a great tribute to the lodge in celebrating its 50 Years Anniversary. Statistically, Bro. Peter Whelan would be the only member of the lodge to be present at the 100 Years Centenary Meeting in the Year 2069, the PGM took a photo with him to mark this occasion. The Festive Board concluded with W.Bro Malcolm Burns giving a brief history of Piscator Lodge.
