Provincial End of Year Party
On Saturday 23 November, at the Holiday Inn in Bloomsbury, almost 100 London Mark Master Masons and their guests braved the inclement weather to gather for the biennial Provincial End of Year Party.
After some pre-dinner drinks, everyone sat down to a delicious 3-course meal and then danced to music from the Hendo Washboard Kings – an excellent Dixieland jazz band.
During the course of the evening a raffle was held, with prizes including one of Jerry Gangadeen’s famous rum cakes and an opportunity to sabrage a bottle of Champagne. Thanks to the generosity of those present a whopping £675 was raised for charity.
