Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of London Annual Meeting, July 10th 2014. Most definitely the “Jewel in the Crown”.

What a fabulous day it was with the PGM David Ashbolt in the company of the Past Pro Grand Master, John Hale and the Assistant Grand Master Raymond Smith and many PGMs of other Provinces and their Deputies, Assistant PGMs and other Honoured Guests. We were treated to an excellent programme complete with the (by now) usual stirring sounds from both Organ and Band. We witnessed the processions of the Nonagenarians, the Advancees, the Worshipful Commanders and the Masters of Mark Lodges. The PGM gave a very warm, individual, welcome to everyone, and in particular to the members of those processions.
W BRo Terry Bany stood down having completed his tenure as APGM with the grateful thanks of the APGM and all the Brethren assembled. A new APGM was appointed in the person of H E (Henry) Hobson who was invested by the PGM to much, well-deserved applause. The PGM gave us all an update on the fundraising for the Mini-bus appeal which was proceeding extremely well. After the meeting we all retired to the Connaught where over 520 members and guests dined in the usual, convivial, Mark manner.

Thank you to all who attended and those stalwarts assisted in the photography, Nigel Harris and Chris Stewart.
