Provincial Grand Master visits Thistle 8 Lodge -12 October 2021
The Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Thomas Quinn and a delegation of provincial officers, visited Thistle 8 to witness the installation of a new Worshipful Commander. Also the installation of a new Worshipful Master. Both ceremonies being carried out admirably.
The PGM was to have presented a 50 year certificate to VW Brother AJ Kirby. Unfortunately however, he and many other lodge members, were unable to attend through illness.
This didn’t stop our PGM from reading out a long list of Brother Kirby’s historical achievements within Mark Masonry and outside. Everyone wished him a speedy recovery and were looking forward to seeing him again.
