Scots 406 Full Team Visit Installation & Advancement
On Monday 19th February, 2024 a full Provincial delegation escorted the Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro Thomas Quinn who was received into the Scots Lodge of Mark Master Masons no.406 to witness the Installation of the new Worshipful Master W.Bro. Andrew Talbot Colquhoun for the ensuing year and the Advancement of Bro. Amandeep Singh Bansel.
The Provincial Escorting Officer W.Bro. Jon Wallis, led the full team of W.Bro’s Jeff Partridge, Nicholas Davies, Robert Williams, Paul Asante, Chris Rose, Stephen Schofield, Costa Trizis, Christopher Leech, Ruel Lawrence, Jon Leech, Howard Davies, Graham McCormack and Don McGarr with the solo Piper preceding the Escort W.Bro Alastair Stewart.
W.Bro Colquhoun Installation ceremony was performed by W.Bro. Shane Clapham to such an exemplary standard the Provincial Grand Master awarded the “silver lapel” pin to Shane’s and every attendee’s delight, including those in Highland Dress.
The Festive Board was a lively affair with the haggis piped in on a silver plater by the chef and to a slow clap by all present. R.W.Bro. Thomas Quinn addressed the haggis to the enjoyment of all present and it was served with neeps and tatties with traditional “gravy” and not a drop of Irn Bru in sight !
A very memorable Scots no.406 meeting and Festive Board to be remembered for many a year.
