Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

The PGM Visits…

Another brilliantly busy week has just gone by.
Monday 24th saw me as a guest at City of London Lodge where the Middlesex PGM, fellow Scott Eddy Garty, had invited me to Address the Haggis at the Festive Board – but not before I had witnessed a very fine Advancement of a brother into what I was informed is the ‘Premier’ Mark Province!!
Tuesday 25th was a full on day. 12 noon wreath laying ceremony at the Statue of Robert Burns in Embankment Gardens. An Annual pilgrimage for me to attend and sing a couple of songs with my colleagues from the Burns Club of London. Then straight to MMH for King Solomon Lodge RAM where I had the great pleasure to Install Vincent Fattorusso as W.Commander. This was followed by a Mark Double Advancement and then my turn to install Bro. Lee Townsend as WM. There followed yet another Burns Supper Festive Board where I was obliged to slaughter the umpteenth haggis of my 2022 season!! We were joined there by Kelvin Lodge Bre. What a terrific atmosphere a Joint FB generates!
Thursday 27th was Abernethy Lodges’ RAM and Mark. Elevation and Advancement under the eyes of V.W.Bro. Gavin O’Sullivan ProvGSW on his Official Visit. As King Solomon Quarries Lodge was also meeting and dining that night, I managed to drop in on their Festive Board and take wine with their newly Elevated Bro.
Saturday was just as busy. Freemasons Without Borders in the morning. A wonderful Advancement Ceremony for our candidate from Romania under the approving eyes of the 3 Rulers. Straight from that Festive Board lunch to an Emergency Meeting of London East Africa, where – yes you’ve guessed it – another Advancement was taking place. Time for a swift pint in the Blue Post before a well earned day off.
Another fabulous week for London Mark. 5 new Advancees and 2 Elevations. Plus Installations and Proclamations. Keep up all your good work my Brethren and Mark Well.
Tom.
