Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

The PJGW visits Carnarvon Lodge No 616 and witnesses a Silver Pin performance!

Well, what a terrific afternoon of brilliant Mark ritual we experienced when Bro. Lui Hui was Installed in the chair of Carnarvon Lodge No 616. Immediately after the Installation W. Bro. Lui Advanced Bro. Aria into the Mark Degree and had arranged that during this Advancement ceremony he would be tested for the Silver Pin Award by none other that W. Bro. Tom Quinn DPGM.

The ceremony was tremendous with all the Officers playing their various parts to the very best of their ability.

At the termination of the ceremony there was a pregnant pause, we all awaited with baited breath.

“… On the announcement by the Adjudicator that Lui had been successful there was immediate, spontaneous and sustained applause from all the Brethren present”.

At the Festive Board W. Bro. Tom DPGM was presented with a cheque for £750 in favour of the MBF Walk. W. Bro. Tom assured those present that the PGM would be highly impressed with this very generous donation.

W. Bro. Jerry Gangadeen had baked a wonderful cake which we demolished with our coffee, thanks Jerry it was great.

Lui and most of the Officers had practiced with the Grand Masters Lodge Of Instruction. Lui requests that his thanks go to the GMLOI, their help and assistance was invaluable and much appreciated.
