Hello,

W Bro Tim MacAndrews, Provincial Grand Junior Warden, visits Royal Naval Lodge on Thursday 15th January 2015: A Delegation full of surprises.

W Bro Tim MacAndrews accompanied by a Delegation of approaching 20 Provincial Grand Officers attended this very special Lodge’s very special day! Almost as soon as the Delegation had been seated, The RW Provincial Grand Master, David Ashbolt accompanied by VW Bro Bill Divall, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W Bro Wes Hollands Deputy Provincial Grand D.C. and The Axeman – W Bro Charlie, entered the Lodge. W.Bro Tim MacAndrews presented the Lodge with their Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards for their contribution to the Mini-bus appeal. Then the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro David Ashbolt then rose and presented the Lodge with the Platinum Award – The Axe. This was a most entertaining time and all the Brethren and Visitors thoroughly enjoyed themselves. W Bro Scott Cargill then installed his successor in fine style and the ceremony and work of the evening, as well as an excellent Festive Board, was, quite simply, superb. The generosity of the Members and Guests exceeded all anticipation when the sum of £180.00 was collected for Raffle Tickets for the Henniker Raffle for the Mini-bus Appeal.

Another great bonus was that we were able to meet the Skillful Craftsman and appreciate all the work undertaken by W Bro Charlie in the production of the numerous Axes he has hand-made to such an exemplary finish.
Thank you, Charlie, on behalf of us all.
