50-50 Club makes a donation to The Agoonoree (Greater London) Trust Fund
Half of the money raised by the 50-50 Club – a total of £2,200 – has been donated to The Agoonoree Trust Fund. The organisation was founded in 1947 to enable Scouts with special needs to enjoy a summer camp and every year since then they have been holding annual Agoonoree camps for approximately 40 Scouts (you can learn more about their work here).
In a letter of thanks, the Chair of Trustees wrote “Our Trustees are overwhelmed by the generosity of your members, and know it will be put to future good use in our efforts in support of the Agoonoree aims and principles”.
