City Livery warmly receives W Bro Wes Hollands, APGM, and his Delegation on 11th December
It really was an afternoon and evening of excellent ritual and a great deal of fun. In the company of the APGM, W Bro Wes Hollands, a large delegation of Provincial Officers were absolutely delighted to be able to attend. A few of them (who actually knew parts of the ceremony) were honoured to be asked to assist in a few small areas. Attending as a guest was RW Bro David Ashbolt, PProvGM who, several times during the evening, complimented Wes for trying to raise money for the RNLI. A new member was advanced in great form and certainly seemed to enjoy himself. He was subsequently welcomed into the Fraternity by Wes Hollands, APGM, in a warm and generous manner. Afterwards an excellent Festive Board was enjoyed and the usual Toasts were Taken.
Despite much provocation, the Escorting Officer, W Bro Symeon Ververides, managed to keep the Delegation well under control and proved himself as a very good and unflappable addition to the year’s ProvADC’s. Well done.
We all departed with great good humour and with very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
A really great meeting. Thank you.
