After the meal we were entertained by Roger De Courcey who gave a slide show on his 50 years in show business. Roger then introduced Nookie bear who had come to a Mark social in Craft regalia, the laughter started here and did not stop until the show was over, no one was safe from his comments especially David Ashfelt sorry Ashbolt our PGM, this was closely followed by a suburb imitation of Jagdish by Nookie bear whose Indian accent matched Jagdish’s perfectly, everyone was in stitches and everyone on the receiving end took the stick in great humour. A terrific time was had by all.

The Mess President Eddie Goodwin then presented Roger with a cheque for his charity the Grand Order of Water Rats amid much applause.
